Looking at the list, there are 8 Democrats and 6 Republicans. Let's hope the Republicans are lined up against. So one Democrat needs to defect. Looking at the Democrats, the one I would expect to be most sympathetic to the concept of upstate jobs is Suzi Oppenheimer. She is from Westchester while the others, except for Thompson, are from NYC.Her district is also a very mixed district, from very conservative/high income to very working class. She would be more likely to be open minded than a totally urban senator with a more homogeneous district.She also only won in 2008 with 62% of the vote, while most of the other Democrats were in the 90% range. She can't afford to be too doctrinaire left wing.It's obviously your call, but you might consider asking people who can only make fewer calls to call Oppenheimer and the Republicans (the last 6 on your list). Padavan is probably the most critical Republican: he won by a hair against the infamous James Gennaro. So he can't afford to be seen as too anti-environmental; he might be a weak link on the Republican side
