Behind the scenes we are working dilligently to bring the entire group an offer that is amicable to all. As long as the DRBC & the DEC drag their feet-- no gas company is going to make an offer that we/us will be happy with. Another words--we have sat at the table and talked with some gas companies-- but they use the above senario as a license to steal and we arent going to let that happen.
Many of you have sent emails asking for an update--we can only assure you at this time that every Coalitions hands are tied until water issues are straightned out and the sgeis report is finalized.
If you want to do a small part please email the Governor @ www.state.ny.us/governor and click " contact the governor " let him know that it is imperative that the sgeis report be passed by the DEC asap and the DRBC ( Delaware River Basin Commission ) needs to step up their responsibilty with regards water issues pertinant to natural gas drilling in the State of N.Y.
These issue's need to be passed before election day 11/02/10
